One-on-One Consultations on Actual Manuscripts

Are you a Ph.D. student or postdoc and have already written a scientific manuscript in the field of drug design, pharmacology, biochemistry, synthetic chemistry, molecular biology, biomedicine, or nanomedicine?

If you would like to get actual editorial input on the quality of your manuscript and its suitability for publication in a peer-reviewed journal join the workshop.

After registering you will be given the e-mail address for submitting the paper to the lecturer by latest April 23th. The workshop will be conducted on-line. 15 articles will be accepted for submission, 10 of which will be selected. Do not hesitate to SUBMIT!

Because working with professional articles is demanding and time consuming, we have limited the number of articles to 10 articles. Manuscripts that fall within the topics of drug discovery, pharmacology, pharmacy, nanomedicine, biochemistry, and chemistry would be prioritized. If your manuscript is chosen, all co-authors, including your senior supervisor can attend with you at your alloted 30-minute timeslot.
You can register for the workshop if you are a Ph.D. student or postdoc and have a written manuscript ready within the topics mentioned above (should be 75–100 % complete).
The lecturer will work with the selected participants using their actual manuscripts, making this an opportunity to truly improve one's scientific papers. Papers within drug discovery may even be considered for peer review in ChemMedChem on-the-spot.

Lecturer: Dr. David Peralta earned his B.S. and Master’s degree in Chemistry at the Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines. In 2009, he moved to Heidelberg for his Ph.D. at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and University of Heidelberg, in the research group of Prof. Tobias Dick. Shortly after his Ph.D., he worked as an Assistant Editor at Wiley-VCH in Germany for the journals ChemistryOpen, ChemistrySelect, and ChemMedChem. He has been the Editor-in-Chief of ChemMedChem since 2017.
