YLF Forum Budapest

The Antall József Knowledge Centre (AJKC) is organising the 5th Young Leaders’ Forum (YLF) of think.BDPST, Hungary’s strategic conference on regional development and the perspectives of research, innovation, and future technologies, to be held on 25-26 March 2020.

Young professionals (aged 24-38) ready to shape the future and drive positive changes in the field of innovation are welcome to apply. YLF connects experts from the fields of social sciences, natural sciences, and legal studies to create a bridge between these fields and help young decision makers to make their innovations more effective and successful.

The programme of YLF 2020 is focusing on issues connected to environment and innovation. There are two main topics to be discussed in different formats during the forum:

  • The responsibility of social media and the internet in influencing public perceptions of environmental issues and the spreading of information
  • The role of science, technology, and innovation in shaping the future of water as a key global resource.

During the Forum, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Exchange ideas and discuss innovative initiatives
  • Develop their leadership competencies
  • Learn new skills to become more competitive in their respective fields
  • Create together a global community with the vision, courage, and motivation to drive positive changes and innovation
  • Grow personally, academically, and professionally, learn more about themselves, and expand their cross-cultural networks

Application Requirements:

To be considered for this programme, interested parties should submit the following materials:

  • Current CV (uploaded in PDF format, including the applicant’s age)
  • Online Application Form

Scholarships are available for participants coming from the V4, EU, CE region, and the Western Balkan countries.

Accommodation with breakfast, lunch, and travel are covered by AJKC for participants coming from the V4, EU, CE region, and the Western Balkan countries. For all other countries, only accommodation with breakfast and lunch are covered.
